At Cratex, we package with the means of transportation in mind.  The fabrication method will typically change if the material is being shipped by ocean or air.  Ease and safety of un-packaging for the handler and product is a prime consideration.  For example, for ease of pulling materials out of containers we attach pull slings to our long skids/crates.  Also, upon a customer’s request ,  we will screw on the joist and lids of the crates so it is easier, faster and safer to remove the crate contents.
